2018 Publix Campaign
If your market has Publix locations, the following was communicated to Program Directors on a conference call, and then followed up with an email to hospital CDO’s and Program Directors on 11/9/17.
In preparation for their 26<sup>th</sup> year of fundraising for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in 2018, Publix hopes to mitigate donor fatigue and protect the shopping experience in the communities they serve across the Southeast. Therefore, Publix is reducing the number of days, per campaign, at the point-of-sale. In 2018, all Publix corporate campaigns will run for 17 days, as opposed to the traditional 21-day time period. <strong>The 2018 Publix campaign dates for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals are Thurs., May 31 – Sat., June 16.</strong>
Publix remains <strong>highly</strong> committed to having a successful campaign for all their charitable partners. Because Publix runs multiple POS campaigns, associates are in the position of making asks nearly year-round. The consistent timing and intentional placement of their campaigns in 2018 will alleviate customer complaints and will improve team members’ morale, activation, and engagement with the campaign. Publix feels this will help all their campaigns in the future<strong>. The national CMN Hospitals team lead by Kristen Weisz, AVP Southeast Area, will work with all hospitals to help define strategies to ensure a successful campaign</strong> and the continuation of this longstanding and valued partnership with Publix.
