Book Launch: Laila Ali’s A Spark of Greatness

Children’s Miracle Network is proud to announce our role as the exclusive nonprofit partner for the launch of Laila Ali’s inspiring new children’s picture book, A Spark of Greatness (released September 8, 2026).
Written for children ages 4 to 8, A Spark of Greatness shares Laila’s personal journey of self-belief, finding her own path and channeling inner strength into a positive force for good. Focused on themes of resilience, confidence and unlocking potential, the story brings an uplifting message to kids and families on their health journeys.
Program Details & Hospital Distribution
- Network-Wide Reach: We are distributing complimentary copies of A Spark of Greatness across our entire network of children’s hospitals.
- Per-Hospital Allocation: Each local children’s hospital will receive free copies to share directly with kids and families.
- Shipping Timeline: Books have already shipped on September 24, 2026, to hospitals, if they haven’t already.
- Flexible Activation: Your foundation and hospital teams can deploy these books wherever they provide the greatest local lift—whether distributed directly to children receiving care, used during reading circles and special events or integrated into Child Life and hospital literacy programs.
Social & Storytelling Opportunities
We want to highlight how this collaboration brings joy to kids across the country:
- When appropriate and with standard hospital consent/permissions, please capture photos and short anecdotes of children receiving and reading the book.
- Select photos and moments from our network will be shared directly with Laila Ali and her team and featured across her national social media channels to spotlight your hospital’s work and celebrate our collective impact.
