Brand New: UMC HealthSystem’s New Children’s Hospital
For more than 40 years, UMC Health System Children’s Hospital has been a proud partner of Children’s Miracle Network (CMN)—a relationship rooted in shared values, community commitment, and an unwavering focus on advancing children’s health.
Recently, UMC celebrated the opening of its new Children’s Hospital, a milestone that reflects years of thoughtful planning, collaboration, and investment in the future of pediatric care. At the same time, UMC is renovating its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and continuing to expand services with the development of a new Cancer Center set to open this spring.

Children’s Miracle Network has been honored to play a role in bringing many of these initiatives to life and to be physically represented in this new era of care. The introduction of CMN’s new logo on the hospital serves as a powerful symbol of this enduring partnership. It reflects hope, progress, and the collective impact made possible when organizations work together toward a shared mission. Most importantly, it represents the children and families who benefit every day from this collaboration.
“Children’s Miracle Network has played a vital role in many of these projects,” said Misti Welch, Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer of the UMC Foundation. “This new logo is a reflection of the impact CMN continues to have on our patients, families, and community. It represents hope, progress, and the incredible support CMN provides—not only financially, but through advocacy, awareness, and a commitment to ensuring every child receives the best care possible.”
