CMN Hospitals Survey FAQs
What surveys are CMN Hospitals doing?
CMN Hospitals has recently deployed several surveys; some new and some that are conducted annually with donors and participants in CMN Hospitals’ programs. Recent and upcoming surveys include a survey of current constituents, a Dance Marathon participant survey, localized radiothon surveys, and Extra Life end-of-year participant survey.
What is the purpose of these surveys?
These surveys are conducted to better understand the ever-changing marketplace, consumer behaviors, and desired experiences. This data allows CMN Hospitals to enhance the fundraising programs we offer to our member hospitals while increasing the propensity to meet consumers where they are. It also helps CMN Hospitals to identify gaps within its current strategies. The purpose of these surveys is not to solicit or market to individuals. The purpose is to gain insights to inform the work of CMN Hospitals and to ultimately raise more funds.
Who is the audience for these recent surveys?
The Pursuant survey reached 40K of CMN Hospitals’ constituents at random with a goal of 1,400 participant responses. This survey recently was sent via email to individuals by the research firm, KS&R on behalf of CMN Hospitals and Pursuant*.
The Dance Marathon and Extra Life surveys are being distributed to any participant who signed up for Dance Marathon or Extra Life on CMN Hospitals Donor Drive’ site. The Extra Life survey is expected to go out in February 2021 and the Dance Marathon survey will go out on an event-by-event basis throughout 2021.
The radiothon surveys were conducted by Critical Mass Media, a research extension of iHeart, which asked consumers to listen to specific market radiothons and answer questions about the programming.
How does CMN Hospitals intend to utilize this information?
The data collected from these surveys will be used internally by CMN Hospitals to inform and enhance the fundraising programs and brand work of CMN Hospitals. Dance Marathon and Extra Life surveys are used to better understand the participants who engage with the programs and to help provide guidance for programmatic enhancements in 2021 and future years.
Will the survey results be shared?
The results will be shared with the network at large in the coming months and as insights are available.
