Good Morning:
I hope this message finds you well. All of you are a part of our Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals family, and your health and well-being are important to us.
I can only imagine the difficulty that you and your colleagues have been experiencing in response to the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19). We have been keeping in close contact with our hospitals and partners as the news has developed over the past few days. We are stunned by what we are hearing, and we are concerned for you, the caregivers at your hospital and those you serve.
We know that many of you are experiencing cancelations of events, tours and partner programs, due to restrictions and travel bans. Please continue to keep us informed, so the CMN Hospitals community can support you during these challenging times. We will rally together with you to find the greatest outcomes possible.
We also understand that over the years you’ve formed close bonds with the partners in your community and are, naturally, concerned about them as well. I would encourage you to do precisely what I have encouraged our staff to do if you feel so inclined – reach out with expressions of support with the challenges they are facing. I know as members of their community they will view it as a reflection of the bond you share as we await a time when it makes sense to have more practical conversations.
While your year is not unfolding as you had anticipated, please know that the hard work and dedication you’ve shown truly matters. People like you that choose to show up for some of our most vulnerable community members – our kids – make all the difference.
Be safe, be healthy, and be kind to one another. If I can be of any further support to you, please reach out. We are grateful for you and the work that you continue to do for children and families during this unprecedented moment in our lifetimes.
Sincerely,
Clark Sweat
Chief Revenue Officer
