Casey’s General Stores Partnership Ending
As of February 2020, Casey’s shared their updating giving strategy, one which CMN Hospitals does not fit into. Casey’s, a partner since 2014, will not continue with future fundraising support and partnership with CMN Hospitals.
This updated giving strategy has been underway since the fall of 2019. Casey’s conducted a survey that received over 6,000 responses regarding non-profits that resonate with Casey’s guests, giving preferences and frequency of ask and more. Casey’s gathered insights from this guest research, conducted a series of internal presentations and received executive input. The result of this work has led Casey’s to focus on three new areas of giving: veterans, food & security, and education in K-12 schools.
With majority of Casey’s stores located in small towns across the Midwest and Southern regions, Casey’s values are rooted in a sense of belonging to these communities. Last fall, they launched their new marketing strategy centered around the tagline “Here For Good”. Their brand goals are to make a positive difference in the lives of customers and Casey’s team members within their local communities. Casey’s new corporate giving strategy was built to better align with these marketing objectives.
We are grateful for Casey’s six years of support for our network. Casey’s is proud of their partnership with CMN Hospitals since 2014 and the impact they’ve made for local kids and families. They’ve welcomed local hospitals to submit online requests to their contributions committee for local events to receive sponsorship, in-kind food items or donations.
