November 2017 Update:
Happy Thanksgiving from the New Partnerships Team!
We want to express our thanks to all who have been collaborating with the national office to find and secure new corporate partners. Please accept our heartfelt thanks.
Here is a current update on New Business for:
- ATOM Tickets
- Columbia Sportswear
ATOM Tickets
Thanks to Erin Hickey, CDO and Assistant Vice Chancellor, from UCSF Benioff Children’s who brought forward ATOM Tickets. ATOM is a mobile application that allows consumers to purchase tickets to entertainment events. It is a new competitor to Fandango. After brainstorming a few ideas, Erin shared the concept with her board member Lynne Benioff, wife of Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce.
We were pleased to learn that both ATOM and Lionsgate wish to partner with us for the November 17th movie release of Wonder. This is a pilot and our goal is to build a long-term relationship with ATOM that will include a one-dollar donation and a consumer ask at check out.
This is a great example of the New Partnerships Referral Strategy working. We would like to thank Erin Hickey and her team.
Columbia Sportswear
The New Business development team is excited to announce a new partnership with Columbia Sportswear! Columbia Sportswear is a 70-year-old international outdoor apparel brand with revenues of $2.4 billion and is 841 on the Fortune 1000 listing.
This holiday season, Columbia Sportswear will run a register campaign for CMN Hospitals beginning on Giving Tuesday/November 28th to December 31st, in all 122 of its retail locations.
Click here to see the 59-member hospitals impacted in the United States.
We are proud to announce that the Columbia Sportswear relationship is also a product of the New Partnership’s referral strategy.
Following two meetings, the partnership with Columbia was secured. We’d like to thank Jim Ervin, Executive Director of OHSU & Doernbecher Foundations in Portland, Oregon. Through Jim’s work on the New Business CDO Committee, he has experienced and supported our referral strategy. Jim explored the idea of a relationship with his board trustee from Columbia and then took the next critical step of securing a joint meeting with them.
If you have new national partner opportunities you want to bring forward, please contact Peter Reis at preis@cmnhospitals.org.
